Who We Are: Our Story
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Founder & CEO
Dan Gatsby is the Founder and CEO of Gatsby Real Estate, with over 30 years of experience in software development, business invention, and real estate investing. His goal has always been to make high-quality real estate investment opportunities accessible to individual investors, as simple as investing in stocks.
As a Sponsor and Syndicator, Dan has led a wide range of successful real estate projects, with a strong focus on multifamily value-add and ground-up developments. He combines hands-on experience with a technology-driven approach to deliver efficiency, scalability, and consistent results for investors.
Before founding Gatsby, Dan built one of the nation’s largest printing companies, Zoo Printing, transforming a small local shop into a nationwide enterprise with more than 500 employees and over $75 million in annual revenue. Today, he applies that same innovative mindset to real estate, leading Gatsby with a focus on technology, opportunity, and investor success.
